The Cummeragunja walk-off of 1939 was remembered with speeches, dancing and free food at Rumbalara Co-operative in Mooroopna last week.
Rumbalara deputy chief executive Michael Cutmore said about 75 people attended the special day organised by the Woongi Men's Group.
``It was a day to remember a significant cultural date in Aboriginal history, and to bring the community together to strengthen the reconciliation process,'' Mr Cutmore said.
